Reflexion

Level Platforms and Reflexion Networks have teamed up to help solution providers extend their remote monitoring to hosted email services. Through this partnership, solution providers can now use Level Platforms Managed Workplace to monitor the health and performance of their clients' email systems, and soon be able to monitor the MX record, SMTP Delivery Results, LDAP configuration and other dynamically changing components of their email environment.

Reflexion Networks, Inc., formed in May 2004, is headquartered in Woburn, Massachusetts, just north of Boston. The company offers a suite of hosted services for email security, email archiving and e-discovery and email encryption. These services help organizations protect and manage their technology infrastructure, intellectual property, and sensitive employee and customer data. The company's integrated offerings include:

  • Reflexion Total Control (RTC) - This email security service blocks email-borne spam, malware and other exploits, while saving bandwidth and providing end-users with unique control over their email inbox through features such as Address-on-the-Fly®. The company's core intellectual property is covered by two US patents; patents have also issued in China and Australia.
  • RADAR - Reflexion Archiving, Discovery and Recovery is an active archiving solution that provides a complete and secure history of email communication, with rapid search and recovery capabilities. RADAR also provides web-based access to the user’s archive, so that employees have access to their email even when the local email server is down or the power is out. Reflexion offers a Lite version with a rolling 30-day archive for email disaster recovery.
  • RTC Encrypt - This policy-based encryption service helps organizations protect their intellectual property and prevent the email disclosure of protected customer data.

These three offerings are bundled into the Total Control Compliance Suite™, which helps organizations comply with the growing range of federal and state legislation requiring the protection of sensitive personal information, particularly in financial services and health care markets.

Reflexion sells its services exclusively through a global network of IT solution providers, sometimes referred to as Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Reflexion's customer base cuts across all industry segments, with particular concentrations in financial services, health care, local government, not-for-profits, and professional services.

The company's leadership has extensive experience in email and security. The President and CEO headed the US operations for Sophos, the UK-headquartered security vendor, after holding a succession of senior positions at the Lotus Development Division of IBM. He is also an experienced board director and advisor. Reflexion's core leadership team has over 35 years of experience with the company.

Reflexion differentiates itself through the effectiveness of its solutions, the integration and ease of management of its services, the quality of its technical support, and its channel-centric business practices. The company, its services and its management team have been recognized with many industry awards.
